Thanks to our Volunteer Leader, Ricci Bandkau, Mayor pro tem of Brighton, for all her hard work, opening of doors, marvelous leadership qualities and persistence in behalf of the Peer Mentor Program!

Thanks to our Visionary Leader, Erica Perry, without whose undaunted persistence and fabulous vision for the Peer Mentor program the Brighton Kidney Walk wouldn't have such an exciting and compelling goal!

Thanks to Ace Woolridge for tireless efforts in obtaining sponsors for BKW! We're grateful for his willingness to use his many business contacts to help us achieve our goal! We love his persistence! Ace helped us meet with Paul Saginaw to set up a Zingerman's Roadhouse promotional event.

Thanks to Nancy Tartoni of U-M for constantly generating marvelously creative ideas, and for her hard work and enthusiasm in implementing them! Her fundraising instincts are unbeatable!

Thanks to Sarah Scantamburlo for taking the reins for the High Wire Girls Jewelry store part in Royal Oak on May 1. Her tireless efforts and managment ability are moving us further to our goal!

Thanks to Alex Simpson and his fraternity, and to Kristine Urbas and her sorority for their work in setting up and managing the Buffalo Wild Wings event in Ypsilanti on March 14. Thanks to all the members of the two houses, too!

Thanks to Paul Saginaw, owner of Zingerman's, and Lynn Yates of the Zingerman's management staff, for prividing the Zingerman's Roadhouse Benefit in Ann Arbor, and for providing plenty of bagels and cream cheese, etc. for the BKW on September 6!

Thanks to Rebecca Dotson for boundless energy, super-creative ideas and the willingness to get involved up to her elbows in a whole host of wraparound events, cultivations and solicitations!
